I have been interested in gardening since leaving school way back in the last century and indeed my first job was gardening related. Now gardening tends to be a hobby rather than a career, and I do have some articles out on the Internet that reflect that. A gardening ebook is in the pipeline but will be some time yet before it's completed.
Walking and hiking has been a part of my life since I was very young, and having been born in Derbyshire and growing up in or close to the Peak District National Park has become a favoured passtime. In relation to this countryside and conservation issues are also high on my list of favourite things, along with a respect for all wildlife. My two new blog sites are related to my constant wanderings in the local area; check them out!
My main hobby is the keeping of exotic or foreign small pet birds for which I have build a large aviary at the bottom of the garden to accommodate them, and indeed my first online articles and my first blogs were and still are related to this. My first blog appeared with the completion of an ebook I have written about keeping pet birds which was completed in April of 2011 and the pet bird blogs soon followed.
Just like many others I am also interested in food, especially eating it, but I also enjoy preparing and cooking it and have been known on a number of occasions to experiment in this field; sometimes with disastrous results, but not always. I am especially fond of trditional British food for which I maintain two more blogs dedicated (almost) to it. I am also in the process of writing an ebook full of regional UK recipes, but this will take me some time to complete as it is a very large book that will contain well over 100 entries.
Plus I also run another media blog apart from this one, and have already published my first ebook related to this entitled 'The Media Bandit Book of Free Vids & Audio'. I am now working on the next one.
To summarise; I currently run 8 blogs, write articles, have published 2 ebooks, currently working on 2 more ebooks, and also in the process of creating audio and video versions of some of my projects.
